Bruce Covey
Senior Director of the Office of Technology and Bookstore Relations

In addition to his duties as senior director, he is faculty advisor to The Emory Wheel and Emory’s literary journals and Chair of the Emory Poetry Council. He has taught literature and/or creative writing at Emory, the Atlanta College of Art, and Yale University. In addition to teaching, he has worked as a book editor for Peachtree Publishers and Chelsea House, managed a bookstore in New Haven, CT, and was a technical writer for IBM. He has also done freelance web design, has been a visiting writer at Converse College, and has written several papers on cognition and the creative process. He is the author of six books of poetry. He grew up in Connecticut and New York and was educated at St. Lawrence and Yale Universities.

Liz Carlino
Program Coordinator
Liz began working at Emory in 2014 after relocating from her home state of CT.  Liz routes all IT service requests and incidents within Campus Life. She curates literary programming for the Emory bookstore through the new Faculty Conversation Series. Outside of the office you can find Liz at a thrift store (her dream is to have her own brick and mortar vintage shop), practicing yoga or supporting rescue dogs through the various shelters she volunteers with.

Richard Method
Departmental Support and Web Applications

Richard Method has been working for Emory University since 1997. He started doing desktop support for the School of Medicine, then worked for UTS doing database programming, and is now providing department support and web applications development for OTBR.

Eddie Parsons
Senior Technology Consultant

Eddie Parsons has been at Emory since 1997. He started out in the Emory Card office but quickly moved into Campus Life Technical Services. His duties include procurement, project management, IT governance and assisting with bookstore relations. Prior to coming to Emory he worked for The Walt Disney Company (yes, he is an honorary Mouseketeer!) and Williams-Sonoma (did someone say foodie?). He attended the University of Georgia and received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and completed all of his Master's coursework and research in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. So it only makes sense that he works in information technology! Right?!? He admits it's a strange road map, but he loves his job and the Campus Life family.
